Academic Connections

The Academic Connections Department is committed to preparing students for college success both in and out of the classroom. Centered on the curriculum in Freshman Seminar and College Skills courses, students learn valuable strategies for academic success as well as life skills in preparation for degree completion and career success. The concepts learned in the Academic Connections coursework extend to additional resources outside of the classroom through the Financial Education Center, Civic Engagement including service learning, and a vibrant First Year Experience program, including Peer Leaders.
