The Greenville Tech Alumni Association (GTAA) is a dynamic organization that supports the quality of education at Greenville Technical College and offers opportunities for alumni, students, and friends to connect with each other and the college.
The association raises funds to award scholarships to Greenville Technical College students and support alumni activities and offers opportunities for alumni to socialize and connect with the college. The Alumni Council plans and coordinates programming, publicity, fundraisers, and special events to accomplish these objectives.

Alumni Endowed Scholarship Fund
Awarded to accepted or currently enrolled students in the program of their choice, this scholarship is based on financial need and/or academic merit. Students must be South Carolina residents and are eligible to receive this scholarship for up to two academic years by maintaining a minimum 2.0 GPA. This scholarship fund was established in 1988 by the Greenville Tech Alumni Association.
William Bradshaw/Alumni Endowed Scholarship Fund
Established in 2000 by Bradshaw Automotive Companies and William Bradshaw as part of an Alumni Golf Tournament sponsorship, it is awarded to students in the automotive technology field and is based on academic achievement. (If no auto students apply, students can be in academic curriculum of their choice leading to a certificate, diploma or an associate degree.)
Paula G. Wood/Alumni Endowed Scholarship Fund
This scholarship was established in 1998 in memory of Paula G. Wood, director of Alumni Affairs at Greenville Technical College, whose untimely death occurred at age 48 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was a 1969 graduate and a dedicated employee at Greenville Technical College for 28 years in various positions. Awarded to accepted or currently enrolled students in the academic curriculum program of their choice, this scholarship is based on financial need and/or academic merit. Students must be South Carolina residents.
Outstanding Alumnus/Alumna of the Year
Given to graduates of Greenville Technical College (degree, diploma, or certificate programs) who have brought honor to the college through achievements, exemplary community or civic service, or outstanding career performance.
Honorary Alumnus/Alumna of the Year
Given to non-graduates who have provided outstanding service and/or made significant contributions to the college.
Nominate a deserving individual
The Greenville Tech Alumni Association seeks nominations for the “Outstanding Alumnus/Alumna of the Year” and “Honorary Alumnus/Alumna of the Year.” Awards are presented at the college’s graduation exercises in May. The deadline for submitting nominations is March 15th.
