Engineering Technology Options
Engineering Technology programs emphasize real-world applications, using current knowledge and practices to find and implement solutions for specific technical problems and standard design problems.
All five of the Associate degrees in Engineering Technology at GTC are nationally accredited by the Engineering Technology Accreditation Commission (ETAC) of the Accreditation Board Engineering Technology (ABET), http://www.abet.org, under the commission’s General Criteria and Program Criteria for Engineering Technology and program-specific requirements.
Architectural Engineering Technology
Prepare to assist in designing structures or work hand-in-hand with architects.
Construction Engineering Technology
Prepare to become the construction site supervisor, estimator or assistant project manager.
Electronics Engineering Technology
Prepare for a career in an innovative and enduring field with opportunities in a wide variety of environments
Engineering Design Technology
Prepare to convert ideas and solutions into 2D CAD drawings, 3D CAD models and specifications using state-of-the-art tools.
Engineering Fundamentals (University Transfer)
Designed for students pursuing a degree in Automotive, Civil, Chemical, Computer, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, our Engineering Fundamentals Associate in Applied Science ensures a seamless transfer to a 4-year bachelor’s program.
