For Dental Hygiene – all Phase I classes must be completed by the end of the spring semester in order to apply for Phase II for the fall. Please note that due to weighted admission points it is suggested that required courses HSS 295 or PHI 110, SOC 101 and BIO 240 be taken as part of Phase I, but can be taken during Phase II.
For Dental Assisting – it is highly recommended that all Phase I classes be completed by the end of the spring semester prior to applying for Phase II for the fall.
Please note that if a student is taking a class/classes in the spring, we understand that the grade(s) might not be posted by our application deadline of May 1st. If a student is taking a class/classes in the spring at another college, the student will need to be sure to have a final transcript sent directly to GTC student records.
