Online Learning Help and Information

All online courses at Greenville Technical College are accessed through Blackboard. Some courses may also use Zoom for class or individual meetings.

Access is activated one day prior to the beginning of the semester. You may log in to Blackboard before this time, but you may not see your courses until then.

• For easy password reset or retrieval, first register at the Self Service Password Reset Tool by clicking on the last button. Once registered, you can reset or change your password as needed. For more details, try the Self-Service Password Reset Tool User Guide (pdf)
• If you've forgotten your password and you haven't already registered at the Self Service Password Reset Tool, call 864-250-8000 for assistance.

If you need help with learning the basics on Blackboard, a Demonstration Course has been set up to help. Log in to Blackboard through GTC4me using the username of demo and the password of student.

Online courses at Greenville Technical College use a remote proctoring service called Respondus. Each online course will have at least one exam or assignment that uses this proctoring service. Students will be required to have webcam access and show identification.

Students may also use Testing Services for a professional testing environment for proctoring both computer-based and paper-pencil tests.
