Enrollment Step 2 - Login to the GTC4me portal

WHAT DO I DO?

After you complete Step 1, you should receive an acceptance email. It is sent to the email address you used to submit your application. (Check your junk mail folder if you don’t see it.)

Identify your Username and Password

Your acceptance email contains your Student ID number, your college email address and your login information. 

• Username
  Due to federal privacy laws, username information can’t be sent via email. You can determine your username by following these steps.
  • Visit https://tbonlapp.gvltec.edu/Help/Username
  • Enter your last name and FULL SSN (dashes are not needed) and submit
  • Your Greenville Tech username will be displayed
  • Record your Username and close this tab
• Password
  Your initial password for GTC4me, Self Service and your college email is the last SIX digits of your Social Security number or federal tax identification number (you'll change it after login).
• Email address
  Your college email address is your username with "@my.gvltec.edu" after it, no spaces.

Set up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) 

To maintain security of your information, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is required for all Greenville Technical College accounts. To access your college email, GTC4me and the Advising Survey, first activate MFA.

  • Preferred Authentication Method
    MFA uses your mobile phone or tablet as the preferred authentication method.
  • Additional Verification Methods
    Once you set up your MFA, you can add additional verification methods, such as an email address, using MFA: Student Adding a Sign-In Method on Microsoft Account.
• Can’t use a mobile device? Request an MFA FOB.
  Use the Customer Service & Technical Support form and note “MFA FOB request.”

Login and Complete Required Forms

Use this information to login at GTC4me (using Google Chrome or Edge on a laptop or desktop)
For a walk-through of the process, try this step-by-step guide.

• Click the red Self Service icon, then
  • Complete the Student Enrollment Agreement
  • Complete the Advising Survey, then follow the instructions at the end to set up your planning and advising session
• Click the Gmail icon to access your Greenville Tech student email, which is the ONLY location where you will receive all correspondence from the college, including emails from your instructors and information about your accounts. Remember to check it FREQUENTLY!
