Estimated Cost of Attendance for Greenville Technical College
2024-2025
The following is a brief description of how the estimated cost of attendance is derived. Cost of attendance is based on a two-semester academic year (fall and spring):
- Tuition and Fees are averaged based on the number of credit hours taken by all Title IV aid recipients and their associated tuition and fee costs (average cost per credit hour of the five different schools of the college) and the mandatory fees charged to all students (registration and technology fees).
- Living Expenses: The figure quoted is the total of the estimated food, monthly room rental rate, monthly utilities and Renter’s Insurance rate
- Books and Supplies: This figure is based on the average book costs for a full-time student in an Associate Degree program or a Certificate program during a Fall and Spring semester time period.
- Transportation: This figure estimates the cost of driving to campus daily using an estimated number of miles and a $0.21 per mile cost.
- Personal: This figure is based on survey data regarding expenses for laundry, toiletries, entertainment and other miscellaneous expenses.
