Summer camps in STEM, culinary and more for rising 6th-12th graders!
Middle and high school students can explore fun learning opportunities at Greenville Technical College this summer. Camps in the areas of culinary, vet care, 3D printing, robotics, automotive and more will allow rising 6th through 12th graders to experience hands-on learning taught by leaders in the field.

2026 Camps
Basic Cooking & Baking Combo
MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS
4-day session, Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m. - Noon
Location: Truist Culinary & Hospitality Innovation Center (CHI)
Dates: June 1-4 and June 6-9
Cost: $309
Throughout the camp, students will explore the fundamental techniques and principles of cooking and baking, including ingredient selection, food preparation, recipe reading, and proper cooking methods. With an emphasis on safety and hygiene, participants will learn how to handle kitchen tools and equipment responsibly, ensuring a secure and enjoyable cooking environment.
Create fresh pasta, homemade dressings, and brown butter cookies on Day 1. Master baking basics like bread, muffins, and s’mores-inspired cookies on Day 2. Day 3 focuses on cooking techniques, including stir-fry, fried rice, and roasted stuffed peppers, while Day 4 highlights baking delights like blueberry lemon rolls, mini peach pies, cake pops, and pavlovas. Each day offers hands-on fun and delicious creations!
Parisian Pastries

Step into a world of delicious elegance at Parisian Pastries, where bakers craft exquisite French treats. Over the course of this enchanting camp, campers will learn the secrets behind iconic Parisian pastries, from flaky croissants and buttery éclairs to delicate macarons and rich tarts. They’ll gain hands-on experience with traditional French techniques, such as creating perfect pâte à choux and mastering the art of tempering chocolate. Introduction to Baking & Pastry

Throughout the week, you’ll work on building your skills and confidence in the kitchen, while experimenting with different types of baked goods. By the end of the camp, you'll know how to create your own delicious treats at home and leave with a collection of recipes to impress your family and friends. Whether you’re a beginner or already comfortable in the kitchen, this camp is the perfect way to start your baking journey.
This camp is perfect for aspiring bakers eager to create delicious treats from scratch. Each day offers a new theme, from mastering baking basics to crafting decadent desserts. With a menu featuring delights like Lemon Confetti Cookies, Eclairs, and Chocolate Lava Cakes, campers will enjoy a sweet and educational adventure.
Mystery Basket

Mastering Cooking Week

In this camp, aspiring young chefs will embark on a culinary journey filled with creativity, skill-building, and the joy of cooking! Campers will have the opportunity to work with a diverse array of ingredients, honing their knife skills, mastering cooking techniques, and experimenting with flavors and textures. They will learn about the importance of food safety and hygiene.
On Day 1, sharpen your knife skills and sauté like a pro with dishes like seared scallops with lemon butter sauce and ratatouille confit byaldi. Day 2 focuses on advanced baking and roasting with creations like focaccia bread and roasted Cornish hens. Day 3 is all about grilling and marinating with grilled chicken thighs, marinated flank steak, and grilled vegetables. One Day 4, elevate your skills with fine dining plating techniques, including tourneed potatoes, asparagus with hollandaise sauce, and elegant plating with microgreens and edible flowers.
Asian Adventures

Global Gastronomy

This camp is perfect for those who love exploring new flavors and cuisines!
Day 1: Thailand – Begin your journey with Thai Spring Rolls, Pad Thai, Green Papaya Salad (Som Tum), and Mango Sticky Rice.
Day 2: Spain – Enjoy Tortilla Espanola (Spanish Omelette), Paella, Patatas Bravas (spicy potatoes), and Tarta de Santiago (Spanish almond cake).
Day 3: Turkey – Delight in Sigara Boregi (cheese roll), Chicken Kebabs, Turkish Lentil Soup (Mercimek Corbasi), and Kunefe (sweet cheese pastry).
Day 4: Peru – End with Ceviche, Lomo Saltado (stir-fried beef), Papa a la Huancaina (potatoes in spicy cheese sauce), and Alfajores (dulce de leche cookies).

Automotive/Auto Body - CAMP IS FULL

Get your engines ready! In this camp, students will dive into the fast-paced world of automotive maintenance and repair. They'll get hands-on experience with the basics—like checking fluids, jump-starting cars, and performing essential vehicle upkeep. But that's just the beginning! Campers will explore the ins and outs of car components, learning how different parts work together to keep a vehicle running smoothly. As a bonus, each student will receive a model car to build from scratch, mastering the process of assembling car body parts and applying paint just like the pros. Whether they're dreaming of being a mechanic or just want to know their way around an engine, this camp is the ultimate pit stop for fun and learning!
Automation & Robotics

3D Printing

In this dynamic camp, you'll learn how to use cutting-edge computer-aided design (CAD) software to transform concepts into physical creations through the magic of additive manufacturing. You’ll work with a variety of 3D printers, each with different capabilities, and see how these amazing machines are revolutionizing industries around the globe. Junior Vet Camp
MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS

Calling all animal lovers! If your child dreams of becoming a vet or just can’t get enough of furry friends, Junior Vet Camp is the ultimate adventure. Campers will dive into the world of veterinary care, learning how to keep dogs and cats healthy and happy with hands-on lessons in basic pet care, behavior recognition, first aid, and even CPR for pets! They'll get the scoop on preventive medicine, exercise routines, and how to spot potential toxins to keep their four-legged pals safe.
But that’s not all—campers will step into the shoes of real veterinarians as they explore radiology, analyze bodily fluids under microscopes, and get an exciting introduction to veterinary surgery! Plus, live animal demonstrations will show them how vets interact with animals in real life, and they’ll learn about the important role animal rescues play in saving pets and giving them a second chance at life.
This camp is packed with cool activities in actual vet classrooms. From saving the day with first aid to learning how vets keep animals in tip-top shape, your future veterinarian will gain the skills and confidence they need to start their animal-care journey.
