Using a holistic approach, ASPIRE works with students to help them further their academic outcomes, while providing the guidance and resources needed to help them achieve their overall educational goals.

82% of ASPIRE Scholars who started their GTC success journey in Fall 2025 continued their academic pursuits into Spring 2026. That's 7% higher than GTC students not participating in ASPIRE.

SERVICES FOR STUDENTS

ASPIRE Scholars Initiative provides participants with the following services and activities:

Personalized Academic Coaching: One-on-one coaching sessions to help students create tailored academic plans and set achievable goals.
Financial Literacy Workshops: Training on budgeting, financial aid options, and resources to manage educational expenses.
Career Readiness Programs: Resume building, interview preparation, and job placement assistance to prepare students for the workforce.
Mental Health and Wellness Resources: Access to counseling services and wellness workshops to support students’ emotional and mental well-being.
Community Engagement Projects: Opportunities for students to participate in service projects that enhance their leadership skills and connect them with the local community.

Celebrating the Aspire Program

The ASPIRE Awards Ceremony at Greenville Technical College is a signature event that brings together ASPIRE scholars, their friends and families, along with GTC faculty, staff, and community partners at the close of each academic year in celebration of our students and their achievements. The ceremony highlights student growth, leadership, service, and academic success, while providing reflection on the journeys and milestones that have shaped the ASPIRE experience. This celebration reflects Greenville Technical College's commitment to student success, community engagement, and the transformative impact of the ASPIRE experience.
