Greenville Technical College now offers the chance to finish a degree online with four complete programs offered online for Fall Semester, beginning August 18. An Associate in Arts degree, which provides the first two years of a bachelor?s degree, is offered online. This degree allows students to transfer credits to four-year institutions where they complete the junior and senior years. Transferring is easy because Greenville Technical College is regionally accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges, just as Clemson, USC, and most well-known four-year destinations are. In addition, three health sciences programs may be completed online. The nine-month online advanced certificate in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) allows the credentialed radiographer to gain additional skills. MRI graduates find opportunities in hospitals, private diagnostic offices, mobile imaging companies, and in sales. The Computed Tomography program, requiring just one semester of full-time study, allows registered Radiologic Technologists or Nuclear Medicine Technologists to increase their marketability. The online Health Information Management major combines health care and information technology, teaching students to manage health-related information. To enroll in these online programs, apply now at www.gvltec.edu/apply.
