Greenville Technical College's Visual and Performing Arts Department is proud to present Brecht on Brecht. Adapted by George Tabori, this show features an ensemble performing poetry, jokes, songs, and a short scene in a style rarely seen anymore. The first half of the show focuses on Bertolt Brecht?s sometimes humorous ideas about theatre and life. The second half focuses on the coming threat of the Nazis and their hatred for the Jews (he wrote most of this in the early 1930s). All performances are located in the TRC Auditorium (Bldg. 102) on the Barton Campus. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. February 19-21 and at 3 p.m. Feb 22. Admission is free; donations are appreciated. For information, contact Dr. Dan Robbins at (864) 250-8773 or Dan.Robbins@gvltec.edu. Bertolt Brecht was one of the world?s greatest playwrights and theorists.
