A Minority Business Expo will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 14 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. in building 102 on Greenville Technical College’s Barton Campus.
The community is invited to attend to learn about local businesses as they showcase their products and services.
The event begins at 10 a.m. A panel discussion about starting, managing, and promoting your business will be held at 11 a.m. Panel members will include Deborah McKetty, president and CEO of CommunityWorks, a non-profit financial organization, discussing resources available. Also serving on the panel will be DeLorean “Dee” Johnson, owner of Au Courant Interiors, a manufacturer of distinctive chandeliers headquartered in Greenville, whose designs have been featured on the CW show “Supergirl,” telling her story of entrepreneurship. Kelley Roark, director of programmatic PR and customer engagement manager at Greenville Technical College, will address using social media to promote your business.
