New leaders have been appointed for the Economic Development and Corporate Training (EDCT) division at Greenville Technical College.
Jennifer Moorefield has been named associate vice president, responsible for the division, its day-to-day operations, corporate training, and administration of the Buck Mickel Center, where classes are held. Moorefield is an expert in organizational effectiveness and change management with over 25 years of experience providing coaching, facilitation, training, and leadership services to business and industry. Her organizational roles have included adjunct faculty and divisional manager at Greenville Technical College, principal at Triad Consulting, and senior director of human resources for Dynegy. Moorefield earned an undergraduate and master's degree from Winthrop University.
Carol Beckham is dean of Economic Development and Corporate Training, managing academic programming including experiential learning. Beckham is a 21-year veteran of the division, having served as program manager, organizational development specialist, and special projects director. She has administered large federal and state grant programs, created customized programs for business clients, led a president’s leadership academy for employees, and launched an entrepreneurial studies program. Beckham earned a bachelor’s degree in experimental psychology at USC Spartanburg (now USC Upstate) and a master’s degree in industrial/organizational psychology at Clemson University.
