Dr. Lee Edwards and Dr. Kathryn Hix have been appointed as Faculty Fellows for Greenville Technical College. The Faculty Fellows serve as a resource to faculty and staff for curriculum development, course and program design, instructional methodology, professional development, and assessment processes. In addition, they will support the integration of Learning and Workforce Development, lead the standardization of online learning programming and processes, and serve the overall mission and vision of the college by driving development of academic initiatives.
Edwards is a professor of biology and serves as director of Creative Inquiry. She earned an undergraduate degree in biological sciences, a master’s degree in zoology, and a Ph.D. in plant and environmental sciences from Clemson University.
Hix is an associate professor of English and also teaches for the Center for Professional Excellence. Hix earned an undergraduate degree in English and political science from Presbyterian College, a master’s degree in English from Converse College, and a Ph.D. in education from Lesley University.
