Greenville Technical College will hold a special adjunct faculty networking and hiring event on Tuesday, April 16, 2019, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the University Center Greenville Auditorium in McAlister Square, 225 South Pleasantburg Drive.

Adjunct instructors teach on a part-time basis, averaging about 10-20 hours per week depending on instruction and grading time and helping students outside of the classroom. Positions may include days, evenings, weekends and online classes among the college’s eight Greenville County locations.
“We find that ideal candidates are those who are looking to make a difference in the lives of our students. Industry professionals, recent retirees, and individuals like stay-at-home moms and dads, who are looking for part-time work with a flexible schedule, are encouraged to apply,” said Barbara Wilson, employment and supplemental staffing manager at Greenville Tech.
Adjunct faculty are now being recruited for the following disciplines: Aircraft Maintenance Technology, Architectural Engineering Technology, Auto Body Repair, Automotive Technology, Building Construction Technology, Building Construction/Plumbing Technology, Chemistry, College Skills, Cosmetology, Diesel, Early College/Dual Enrollment, Economics, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Design Technology, English, ESL (English as a Second Language), Graphic Design, HVAC, History, Industrial Electricity, Math, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Music, Nursing, Physics, Political Science, Psychology, Religion, Sociology, Truck Driver Training, Transitional English, Transitional Math, Transitional Reading, Vocational Studies/Healthcare, and Vocational Studies/Manufacturing.
In order to attend, qualified applicants will need to apply online for each teaching discipline of interest prior to the April 14 registration deadline and bring their Eventbrite registration ticket to gain admittance to the event.
