Greenville Technical College Theatre presents “Baskerville,” a Sherlock Holmes mystery, with four performances the weekend of October 10-13.
Get your deerstalker cap on – the play’s afoot! Comedic genius Ken Ludwig (“Lend Me a Tenor,” “Moon Over Buffalo”) transforms Arthur Conan Doyle’s classic “The Hound of the Baskervilles” into a murderously funny adventure – and Sherlock Holmes is on the case.
GTC students in lead roles are Dave Frazier as Sherlock Holmes and William Weiss as Dr. Watson. William “Gus” Osborne, Chris Chamness, Milo Snyder, Claire Hudson and Maria Mazelin form an ensemble cast portraying an incredible 35 roles throughout the play.
Performances in the University Transfer Auditorium begin at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, October 10-Saturday, October 12 and a matinee at 3 p.m. Sunday, October 13. The auditorium (Building 104, Room 136) is located on the Barton Campus, 506 S. Pleasantburg Dr. The play is produced by special permission of Samuel French, Inc., New York.
Admission is $5 for students (any school) and $10 for adults.
