The Greenville Tech Foundation supports Greenville Technical College's mission of transforming students' lives and helping the community thrive by providing a world-class, affordable education. The Foundation’s leadership is extremely pleased to share that in 2022, it distributed a total of $6,300,611 — all of which goes towards improving the lives and experiences of Greenville Technical College students.
The foundation believes that Education Empowers Everyone and these dollars were used to help meet the needs of students by funding contributions to endowed and restricted funds, providing college educational support, purchasing equipment for college programs student scholarships, and through in-kind gifts for college programs and improvements to college property.
“Because of the generosity of corporations, foundations, and individual donors, the Foundation was able to positively impact the lives of countless Greenville Technical College students,” said Ann Wright, V.P. for Advancement at the Foundation. “Generous gifts lead to tangible results. Through innovative programming and wrap-around services like the African American Male Scholars Initiative, student scholarships, the STAR Resource Center, and emergency assistance, we are helping to get more students across the finish line and into careers that benefit their lives, their families, and enhance the economic landscape of our region.”
