
The Greenville Tech Foundation is pleased to announce the election of board officers and the addition of three board members. These individuals bring a wealth of experience and leadership to the Foundation, further strengthening its commitment to supporting Greenville Technical College and its students.
New Board Officers
- Chad Cousins, Chairman: As CEO and principal of McMillan Pazdan Smith Architecture, Chad Cousins has driven strategic growth initiatives throughout the Southeast, earning widespread recognition for championing innovation and fostering meaningful community impact. Serving on the Foundation's board since 2019, he has previously chaired the Properties and Governance Committees and held the position of vice chair. In 2022, Chad and his wife, Ashlyn, established an endowed scholarship to support students pursuing careers in Greenville Technical College’s Architectural and Engineering Design Technology programs.
- Mike McCormick, Vice Chairman: President and owner of Palmetto Manufacturing Partners brings decades of leadership in manufacturing, engineering, and business development. His extensive experience in the Carolinas and abroad positions him to drive impactful contributions to the Foundation. Mike has been serving since 2019 and previously chaired the Marketing Communication Committee. He was instrumental in establishing the Center for Manufacturing Innovation at CU-ICAR for Greenville Technical College.
- Drew Boland, Secretary/Treasurer: Senior vice president of Middle Market Banking at Huntington National Bank, has a long-standing commitment to supporting nonprofit organizations in the Upstate. His financial expertise and dedication to community service are valuable assets to the Foundation. Drew chairs the Finance Committee and has served on the board since 2022. His financial acumen and organizational skills will be invaluable in ensuring sound governance and fiscal responsibility.
- David Sudduth, Immediate Past Chairman: As executive director of Healthy Me-Healthy SC at MUSC, David Sudduth has built a distinguished career spanning healthcare, public service, finance, and government affairs. His steadfast dedication to the Greenville Tech Foundation’s mission has played a pivotal role in advancing its success. David has served on the board since 2019 and has chaired the Finance and Governance Committees. In 2022, David and his wife, Kathy, further demonstrated their commitment to education by establishing an endowed scholarship to support students at Greenville Technical College.
The Foundation welcomes the following new board members:
Michelle Seaver, President of United Community in Greenville, Spartanburg, and Cherokee counties, has over 30 years of banking experience and is credited with leading United’s expansion into South Carolina. Michelle’s leadership extends beyond the professional realm; she is an active member of the community, serving on boards such as Prisma Health, Artisphere, and the Greenville Chamber. She is a graduate of the University of South Carolina and a recipient of numerous accolades, including being named one of Greenville’s Most Influential in 2024.
Harry Dent III, Program Support Specialist for the African American Male Scholars Initiative at Greenville Technical College, Harry also serves as the Teen Center director at Pleasant Valley Connection. His degree in Human Services from Greenville Technical College highlights his dedication to education and community service. A dedicated scholar and community leader, maintained a 4.0 GPA and was named to the President’s List multiple times. As a motivational speaker and entrepreneur, Harry is the founder of Applying Pressure Productions and HustleGrindStack, as well as the author of The 4-Area Reset. His passion lies in inspiring individuals and enhancing organizational infrastructure with innovative ideas. Harry’s dynamic presence and forward-thinking approach will be a valuable asset to the board. A proud alumnus of Greenville Technical College, he understands the unique challenges and opportunities facing both students and the institution.
Megan Finnern, owner and principal of Finnern Consulting, LLC, provides strategic guidance, brand strategy, and project management services. With over 15 years of experience in marketing and client relations, Megan has made a significant impact in both the corporate and nonprofit sectors. She has also demonstrated her commitment to the Greenville community through her leadership roles with Fall for Greenville, Rebuild Upstate, and the American Red Cross. Megan holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from Walsh College.
