The Greenville Technical College Area Commission has announced the selection of four finalists for the position of college president. This announcement follows a thorough search that yielded 61 applicants from across the community, state, and nation and a review and interview process that narrowed the field to 11 semi-finalists.

Vincent Weaver, department chair for the Management and Supply Chain Management programs at Greenville Technical College, has been selected as one of 28 people to participate in the Faculty Development in International Business program offered by University of South Carolina’s Center for International Business Education and Research.

The Greenville Technical College Area Commission announces that Dr. Larry Miller has accepted the position of college president, becoming the institution’s third leader.

Recipients of the President's List and Dean's List awards for Fall Semester have been announced.

Dr. Shadai Wilburn, a seven-year employee at Greenville Technical College, has been named dean of Educational Opportunity Programs.

The College of Education at Clemson University has presented Greenville Technical College with a 2024 Distinguished Partner of the Year Award along with Tri-County Technical College. The award recognizes partnerships that provide sustained or innovative support.

A donation from Paul and Ann Batson allowed an extensive renovation of Greenville Technical College’s executive board room to be completed in fall 2024. Changes included new furniture and state-of-the-art conferencing and meeting technology. Ribbon for the new space was cut on January 15 as Paul and Ann were recognized for their longstanding support of the college and higher education.

A February 2025 art exhibition at the Greenville Technical College library in celebration of African American History Month will feature the work of Regis and Kahran Bethencourt of Creative Soul Photography.

The Greenville Tech Foundation is pleased to announce the election of board officers and the addition of three board members. These individuals bring a wealth of experience and leadership to the Foundation, further strengthening its commitment to supporting Greenville Technical College and its students.
