AT&T Invests in Future Leaders: $10,000 Contribution to Greenville Tech Foundation Supports African American Male Scholars Initiative

The Greenville Tech Foundation is thrilled to announce a substantial investment of $10,000 from AT&T in support of the African American Male Scholars Initiative (AAMSI). Greenville Technical College cuts ribbon on the Prisma Health Center for Health & Life Sciences

Greenville Technical College celebrated the official opening of the Prisma Health Center for Health & Life Sciences today, cutting ribbon on the 137,000 square-foot-facility with the help of college and Prisma Health leaders, elected officials, faculty and staff, students, and those who designed and built the facility including McMillan Pazdan Smith, JMZ, and Harper General Contractors.

GTC holds adjunct faculty virtual networking and hiring event

A virtual networking and hiring event will connect qualified adjunct faculty applicants with department representatives who have hiring needs at Greenville Technical College. The event will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

Greenville Technical College Celebrates Graduates at Commencement

Commencement for Greenville Technical College graduates was held at the Greenville Convention Center on Friday, May 3. Included were 298 participants, 8 military veterans, 112 graduates with a GPA of 3.4 or higher, and 11 graduates with a perfect 4.0 GPA.

Dr. Larry Miller named to GADC board

Dr. Larry Miller, vice president of learning and workforce development at Greenville Technical College, has been appointed to the Greenville Area Development Corporation’s board of directors by Greenville County Council Chairman Dan Tripp.

Dr. Tracy Hudgins selected for USC Nursing Leadership Program

Dr. Tracy Hudgins, academic program chair for the Nursing Department at Greenville Technical College, has been selected to participate in the 2024-2025 Amy V. Cockcroft Leadership Fellowship with the University of South Carolina College of Nursing.

GTC and the Urban League recognize Black History Month

Greenville Technical College Libraries and Urban League of the Upstate present “A Time for Reflection: Black History in the City of Greenville and the Upstate.” The exhibit, in honor of Black History Month, is a pictorial timeline of local black history and culture.
